Le label Scène nationale est attribué depuis début janvier 2016 à l'association Union Châteauvallon-Liberté, unissant deux structures : Châteauvallon et le Théâtre Liberté.
À partir de 2020 la programmation de Châteauvallon est regroupée avec celle du Théâtre Liberté.
